https://scoutingevent.com/272-93492The KLONDIKE CHALLENGE in the Scenic Trails District has been successfully testing Scout skills since 1997. The event is taking place on the wooded campus of the Interlochen Center for the Arts, Saturday March 9, 2024. It will be a day of activities for Scouts along a mile-long trail. Proper dress for the weather conditions is vital. We are eager to have your Troop join us for this great event.
Scouts will travel through fifteen events working as a patrol to participate in each station. Patrols should bring supplies to prepare their lunches; they will have 45 minutes to prepare, eat, and clean up.
Troop check-in will be between 9:00 am and 9:45 am on Saturday with assigned starting stations at 10:00 am. Klondike 2025 will end following the awards presentation around 4:15 pm. Awards will be given for the Scout spirit and best lunches.
Deadline for registration is Saturday, February 22 by 11:59 pm. We need to have a head count of Scouts to prepare for the event stations. For more information, please contact Michael Coonrod, Klondike Chair – [email protected] or (231) 649-8240.
