Students will work together to write and rehearse scenes for a final presentation for a live audience entitled "How to Survive the first day of School". Each day of this 3-day class will include theatre games for building teamwork, creativity, and improvisation skills. Additionally, students will explore topics such as conflict resolution, making and keeping friendships, and calming strategies for stressful situations. They will create characters that explore these topics in a series of scenes. Parents and friends will be invited to see a live presentation of the scene-work at the end of the third class. This class is designed to accommodate students with a variety of needs, including ADHD, Autism, and Social Anxiety.
