Join us Tuesday, April 15th for our monthly meeting as we recognize the significance o women throughout the years featuring guest speaker, Pamela Miner, Executive Director of the Saninbel Historical Museum & Village.
Pamela will share the heroic women that paved the way for the women of today focusing on women on both a national and local level.
We are thrilled to have Pamela join us to share the contributions women have made over the years and impact it has on today's business women. Pamela has 30 years of experience in public and academic history and holds a BA in History from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri and MA in History/Historic Preservation from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Pamela’s experience includes all aspects of historic sites such as the State Historical Society of Missouri, the Missouri State Archives and the City of Cape Coral. Pam held curatorial and managerial roles at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates, Collier County Museums and Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage. She has also been an adjunct professor of American and World History at Florida Southwestern State College. Pamela co-authored with Jared Beck River & Road: Fort Myers Architecture from Craftsman to Modern, University Press of Florida, Gainesville, 2017 – recipient of the 2017 Florida Book Award Gold Medal in Visual Arts.
