Start at Easton Farmers' Market, End at Sigal Museum
Are you coming to town for the Farmers' Market? When you’re done browsing all the local farm goodness, pick up a History Scavenger Hunt Activity List and play your way through historic downtown Easton! You’ll be guided to local landmarks and will complete easy, fun tasks (draw a picture, make a crayon rubbing, etc.) before ending up at Sigal Museum with your completed list.
Take your list to the Admissions Desk for free family passes to the museum. Or stop by our Try It! Artifacts station to explore objects from the Market’s weekend theme.
May 22 Try It! Artifacts = Farm theme
It’s Barnyard Weekend at Easton Farmers’ Market. After you visit the goats and bunnies, come to Sigal Museum and learn to farm the old-fashioned way. Guess the object or try your hand at some common farm tasks for kids.
July 10 Try It! Artifacts = Junior Firefighters' Bucket Brigade
It’s Easton Farmers’ Market’s 269th birthday and there are lots of candles to blow out. Speaking of candles and flames, junior firefighters can re-enact a colonial bucket brigade outside the Sigal Museum. Learn to fight fires and protect your community the 18th-century way.
October 9 Try It! Artifacts = Food
It’s Apple Jam Weekend at Easton Farmers’ Market. Stop by Sigal Museum and see how people made apple pie and coffee the old-fashioned way (apple peelers, butter churn and mold, hand coffee grinder and roaster).
