Scarytown in Carytown – A Day of Spooky Fun! Join us on Saturday, October 25th, as Carytown transforms into Scarytown, a day filled with frightful fun for all ages! With multiple events happening throughout the day, there’s something for everyone to enjoy:Zombie Walk 🧟♂️
Time: 2 PM (Meet up at 1 PM)
Location: Byrd Park’s Boat Lake
Dress up as your best zombie and join the horde! A suggested donation of $5 will go toward suicide awareness and prevention.
Trick O’ Treating 🍬
Time: Noon – 2 PM
Bring the kids for some early Halloween fun and collect treats from participating Carytown businesses! All locations participating in the trick or treat will have a pumpkin sign posted on their door.
Scary Movies at The Byrd 🎥
Start your day with kid-friendly and sensory-friendly scary movies at the historic Byrd Theatre—perfect for little ghouls and goblins! For those looking for a more traditional spooky experience, normal movie viewings will also be scheduled later in the day. There’s something for everyone to enjoy!
🐾 Pet & Person Costume Contest 🎭
Get ready for a paws-itively fun event! Join us for the Pet & Person Costume Contest and show off your creativity with your furry friend or in your own amazing costume.
Sign-Up: 1:30 PM (In-person at Dogma Grooming + Pet Needs, 3501 W Cary St)
Judging Starts: 2:00 PM
Dress up your pet, yourself, or both, and join the fun! Prizes will be awarded to the contest winners, so bring your A-game and your best costumes. Whether you’re spooky, silly, or downright adorable, this is your chance to shine!
