Looking for a doggone good time as we end the summer season? The City of Windsor looks forward to once again offering a “pawsitive” experience for local families and their fur-friends!The second annual Pooch Plunge will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Riverside Centennial Outdoor Pool (6695 Wyandotte Street East), the weekend after the pool closes for “people programming.” Pool chemistry will be adjusted to create a friendly swimming opportunity prior to decommissioning for the season.
The pool has a beach-style shallow entry that allows dogs to walk into water gradually, though dogs are also welcome to jump in the deeper water areas! It is also fully fenced in, allowing for it to be designated as off-leash for the event.
