It´s With Great pleasure for the second time to invite you all to Scandinavian Open
in Copenhagen Denmark.

2023 was a great success with over 120 signups and 5 different country participating. 2024 we are expecting more than 200 signups.
and have already 7 countries promised there presents.
We host this event in Albertslund Sport Complex, where there is Possibility for all athletes and coaches to buy access to a big water park for only 5 Euro per day and direct access - NO Queue And its right next to the Sport Complex.
It will be a pure Muay Thai tournament only for amateur athletes - NO PRO FIGTHTERS IS ALLOWED.
We will set up 3 rings to complete all the fights as smooth and safe as possible.
Saturday will be preliminary fights
Sunday is ONLY Finals, And only 1 Ring.
We have trophies for all winners and medals for runner ups. – If a Weigh class have 4 sign ups, we will open up for an exclusive Pro Belt for the Winner.
We are working on and expecting that:
All Fights will be live streamed
The whole drawing will be online.
All information will go out to every coach on a group chat on Whats App, or on the Scandinavian Open event on Facebook.

Sport Complex
Albertslund Stadion – Adress: Skallerne 14, 2620 Albertslund
- Big and Free Parking. Around 25 Minutes from the Airport and Copenhagen City Centre.
Accommodation and Food
We would like to make this event as cheap as possible for you to join. We have negotiated a good deal for accommodation for you to choose. – Please note that you are free to use any other accommodation that you would like, you don’t need to use our accommodation.
If you like, you are also allowed to sleep in Our gym in Mikenta For free. Just let us know.
Wittrup Motel
This is a Very Nice hotel – with Low cost and Close to the venue – Only 5 minutes by car.
You book the rooms youre self, and just let them Know that you are from Scandinavian Open, and you will get a better deal.

Rules
The Rules are very simple.
All fights :
3 x 2 minutes
Full Muay Thai Rules. Elbows is allowed, but there will be NO knee to the head Alle Fights are with shins, 10 OZ gloves, helmet, and elbow protection.
We will provide all equipment
– There will also be Official Scandinavian Open Equipment for sale at the event, that is allowed to use in the fights.
Last year the Gloves was Black – This year they Will be Grey.
Everybody shall wear a Mongkol and close the ring before fight - No Wai Kru.
The scoring for this event is 10-9 System
Winner of each round will get 10 and the other 9
An 8 count will deduct 1 point.
3 counts in 1 round ends the fight 4 counts in a whole fight ends the fight
No tee or tank for men. Women is okay
Weight Classes and age divisions
Age: U/15 (12-13-14 years) - U/17 (15-15 years) - U/19 (17-18 years) – Senior (19+ Years) – (The minimum age is 12 years.)
Weight Classes Junior /Senior - Men / Women :
-30 -35 -40 -45 -50 -55 -60 -65 -70 -75 -80 -85 -90 +90. – KG.
Weigh-in and medical check
Weigh-in happens on the Friday for everybody Friday 7. June from 17.00 – 18.00 We have Weigh in different places in Both Denmark and Sweden.
At Mikenta in, Copenhagen : Roskildevej 14G, 2620 Albertslund
At Blessed Performance gym, Århus : Sommervej 19, 8210 Aarhus
At Real Fighter, Sweden : Tellusgatan 15, 22457 Lund
At Warberg Fightcenter :
Medical check - Everybody Will Get a Medical Check On the Saturday - between 8.00 – 10.00
Parental document.
All Fighters under 18 needs to have parental aproevel document, - a form can be sent to you by the organizer and can also be uploaded in the Myfightbook
Waterpark
Next to the Sport Complex we have gotten the very great offer that everybody that participate at the Scandinavian open can buy 1 time access to the Water Park, “Badesøen” for only 5 Euro (35 Danish kr.) And with direct access. – NO queue and its just next to the Sport Complex.

Early Bird - Register Before 10. May 50 Euro Fee (400 DKK) Register after 10. May 70 Euro fee (525 DKK)

All gyms need to have their gym register at the site. You can not Create youre gym yourself, so please contact Steffen Weise to register your gym.
Once your gym is register, you’re fighters can sign in – They need to make their own personal profile, and pay all fee from every individual profile.
It goes in 2 steps.
- 1) Buy the Medical Book under federation WKF – Cost 25 euro (200 DKK)
( Maybe you already have it.)
- 2) Sign in to Scandinavian Open and pay the Sign in Fee on 25 Euro ( 200 DKK)
(After 10. May this one goes up to 45 Euro)

If you don’t get fight at the Tournament, you will get full refund.
Coming By Plane - No Problem.
We can arrange pick up for you for only 10 Eu per person per way.
Just let us know the flight times, and Your Hotel,
You Fly to Copenhagen and the Sport Complex is only 25 Minutes drive from the airport.
If you also need pick up from hotel to sport complex, this can also be arrange for 10 Euro per person each way.
Judge and Referee
We would love to have as many different Referees for the Tournament as possible There for Please If possible, bring a referee for the event.
If you bring a judge or a referee for the event please let us know.
We will try to make half day judging so no longer than 3-4 hours per day.
