About this Event
This workshop introduces participants ages 12 and up to the fundamentals of crewel stitching, a wool-on-linen embroidery technique that has decorated homes for centuries.
Beginners are welcome, and no prior embroidery experience is required. The class includes instruction and all materials. It will be held in the classrooms. Those ages 12 to17 must be accompanied by an adult.
This event is part of both the ND250 commemoration of the United States’ 250th birthday in 2026 and Vinterfest, a month-long celebration of winter on the northern Plains featuring educational programs, outdoor recreation, and cultural traditions.
