This February line up is big enough to entice even the sleepiest scallywag out of hibernation so come gather with friends new and old, burn off your winter reserves on the dancefloor and party like it’s mid summer! We’ve got seasoned festival juggernauts and brand new acts to entertain, enliven and enlighten!We return to our new central Brighton home with the doors of the Manchester Street Arts Club open and ready to welcome both regular revellers and new scallywags to an all inclusive party you won't want to miss - everyone’s invited. As always, get your tickets early as most of our parties sell out in advance.
Expect a bringing together of light hearted lovers of good times in two rooms of live music, DJ's, walkabout performance, face painting, laughter and tomfoolery! We bring the music but you bring the party! The vibes are high in our very special new home so if you're yet to experience one of our parties then now is the time to get involved as we showcase our favourite independent festival acts and DJ's from across the UK.
Doors at 8pm, First live act on before 9pm, live music until late, DJ's until 2.30am.
THE LINE UP SO FAR
Headmix - Mixing heavy bass with traditional acoustic instruments, outspoken vocal harmonies and skanking infectious grooves, these festival heavyweights give audiences something they had been craving. Skilfully combining bagpipes, fiddle, accordion, irish whistle, melodica and heartfelt vocals with a driving and upbeat rhythm section, these amazing musicians create an irresistibly dancey and unforgettable live experience. Expect folk meets ska, reggae, drum & bass and disco.
Professor Elemental - You’ll have never seen a live show like it. An effortless blend of party rocking Hip Hop, astounding freestyle raps and stand up comedy, all delivered with one aim: to bring you joy. So put on your best trousers and get the kettle on… It's the critically acclaimed, award winning, king of whimsy: Professor Elemental!
Belver - A brand new stomping celtic folk trad trio. Expect upbeat jigs and reels gathering momentum with 3 part harmonies, whistles, pipes, concertinas and fiddle that’ll keep you dancing from beginning to end.
DJ Nick Maxwell - At Glastonbury and Boomtown, Nicks party sets are legendary. Cutting up the dirtiest funk, blazing the finest hip hop and rinsing out the grimiest jungle in town. Expect plenty of jump up festival style tunes to keep the dance floor bouncing until 2.30am.
Polly Chromatik - Our resident face painting fairy adorns you body with her beautiful artwork with good times vibes

We have fairer ticket prices this season to help more people access the party and allow us to continue hosting events. Please be honest and buy the ticket that applies to your financial situation and by doing so you’ll be helping the party be sustainable for all. Party Safely - We work really hard to create parties that are a welcoming and safe spaces to be enjoyed by all. For your safety, and as with all venues in Brighton, a security team will be present. We trust you understand what is cool and what is not, and any antisocial and/or illegal activity will not be tolerated. In an instance of this trust being broken, inappropriate behaviour will be dealt with nicely but firmly and swiftly. Thank you for keeping all our previous events so safe, we really appreciate your help and the way the Scallywag family looks out for each other, long may it continue!

But what is the scallywag party?
If you're yet to have the pleasure of hanging out in a field with us at one of our previous festivals or events then expect awesome live music, laughter, smiles, chilled days, magic nights, tomfoolery and togetherness.
Our music policy is always eclectic and always good time invoking. Expect Power Folk, Reggae, Afrobeat, Gypsy, Dub, Electronica and everything in between. There will be some acts you will know and some acts you will not, but in true Scallywag Party style, expect to be entertained, enlivened and enlightened!
