Take inspiration from the landscapes of Margery Blackman: Weaving, Life and learn how to create your own woven artwork on a frame. Contemporary weaver Rachel Long will teach you how to weave a landscape of your own. Create a solo piece, or enrol with a friend and work on a larger project together. Spend the day learning from Long in a small group setting, where all materials are provided. As well as your finished weaving, you will be able to take away the frame to continue weaving at home.
Why Join This Workshop?
• Beginner-Friendly: This is your chance to give weaving a go in a supportive environment.
• Small, Intimate Class: With just 8 participants, you’ll enjoy plenty of personal attention in a friendly, relaxed setting.
• The Finished Piece: Create something beautiful with your own hands and take home your woven masterpiece!
