The Shire of the Shadowlands will be doing an SCA Recruitment Demo in College Station, TX at Texas A&M University Howdy Week! We are planning on holding a chivalric and rapier demo, as well as showcasing Arts & Sciences to incoming students. We will be on the southwestern part of Simpson Drill Field, closest to the clock tower. Setup starts at 9am, demo begins at 11am. Demo ends and tear down starts at 1pm.

Volunteers can drop off anything that they don’t want to carry on the sidewalk by Simpson Drill Field (https://maps.app.goo.gl/Vcp2eoVg4tYGSwN9A). Please bring a chair!
Lot 30e and Lot 42 are free to park in, but may have limited availability. Paid parking is available in Gene Stallings Garage.
Event is on university grounds. Please do not bring bladed weapons, open-carry firearms, or live bow/crossbow ammo (only padded ammo). SCA-legal heavy/rapier weapons are fine.
