The SCA Barista Foundations course helps you gain the practical skills you need behind the espresso bar.
You'll learn:
- Technique of espresso making
- Workflow behind the bar
- Dialing in your grinder and troubleshooting
- Milks steaming techniques
- Building basic espresso based drinks
- Cleaning the equipment
- Health & Safety
- Customer Service
Class is 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, we'll take a lunch break in the middle of the session.
Foundations Level (One-Day Course) The foundations level is perfect for beginners and requires no prior experience. The foundation level provides a first taste of the Barista discipline and is a great way to get insight into the skills required of a barista.
You'll recieve the link for online written test after attending the lab. SCA Certificate will be issued to those students who pass the test.
