20th Annual South Central Hilltop Day OutThe 20th Annual South Central Hilltop Day Out Festival celebrates community ties with law enforcement, promotes anti-violence initiatives, and strengthens neighborhoods. It will take place Saturday, August 16th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Burroughs Park, 551 South Richardson Avenue.
This event is in the Spirit of National Night Out, a nationwide celebration held the first Tuesday of every August. However, South Central Hilltop's event these last few years has been held on a Saturday afternoon.
Join us for an afternoon of unity and fun, featuring a Target Kids Zone, food, including Donatos Pizza, grilled hot dogs, and Kona Ice, as well as school supplies and a free drawing for gift cards and gift baskets.
Visit resource tables and meet police officers, including the Ohio State Highway Patrol and our Columbus Division of Police 19 Precinct Liaison Officer and Bike Unit.
Other activities include police and fire demonstrations, COSI science and Zoo activities, and a bounce house.
Don't forget to bring a lawn chair to relax and enjoy the festivities, courtesy of numerous caring sponsors providing free activities and resources.
