
About this Event
This interactive 3-hour training introduces participants to SBIRT—a comprehensive, evidence-based public health approach designed to identify, reduce, and prevent problematic substance use. Through a blend of didactic instruction, case-based learning, and motivational interviewing techniques, participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to implement SBIRT in clinical and behavioral health settings. This training is ideal for emerging professionals in counseling, therapy, and medicine who are seeking to integrate substance use screening and early intervention into their practice.
