Helping Title 1 Schools Succeed
Fair Oaks Elementary School is a Title 1 school which means a large percentage of their students live in low income households in need of economic support. Such conditions leave these kids at an increased risk of not meeting the academic standards of their grade level, along with other vulnerabilities.
That is why the Smyrna Business Exchange, a chapter of the Business Voices BNI Foundation, has partnered with Principal Cathie Seibert to help the kids at Fair Oaks be their best every day.
What We do & How You Can Help
The Smyrna Business Exchange on behalf of Fair Oaks host an annual casino night fundraising event. It is an exciting night to enjoy food, beverages, and friends. In addition to the table games, there are raffle and silent auction prizes that can be won through out the night leading to the grand prize.
Funds raised from the tickets, sponsorships, games, prizes, and donations fund a wide range Fair Oaks’ programs including academic opportunities, field trips, and family meals. This support helps these kids the experience of simply being kids.
