The SBCC Chamber Winds concert is back! On Sunday, November 6th at 7:00 p.m., SBCC Music will be hosting our FREE Chamber Winds concert at First United Methodist Church (305 E. Anapamu St in downtown SB)Eleven unique ensembles will be performing that evening, all comprised of members of our own SBCC Music community:
- SBCC Trumpet Ensemble
- SBCC Flute Quartet
- Sunset Clarinet Quartet
- SB Youth Trombone Choir
- SBCC Chamber Players Wind Quintet
- SBCC Brass Quintet
- Post A.M. Wind/Piano Trio
- SB Community Flute Ensemble
- SBCC Saxophone Quartet
- Los Padres Sound Horn Quartet
- SBCC Trombone Choir
Each ensemble has picked their own musical literature, ranging from timeless classics by Grieg and Debussy to contemporary works such as "Over the Rainbow" and "Moon River." And a combined brass choir will conclude the program with a new work by Prof. Emeritus Dr. Charles Wood entitled "Fanfare for America."
Please note that FUMC's Covid protocols remain in effect for all audience members--masks must be worn indoors during the entire performance
