Join Silent Book Club Huntsville for an evening of reading by candlelight to celebrate the release of George Saunders' new book, VIGIL. This special event will take place at our beloved local bookstore, The Snail on the Wall on February 2 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm.
For this special meetup celebrating VIGIL, attendance is free but registration is required. This event has a limited capacity of 35 registrants.
Don't be alarmed - this is not assigned reading! SBC will always be a BYO Book Club. This is simply the first book in a new series of monthly book recommendations to help SBC members find their next great read.
The first ten members to register will receive a complimentary hardcover copy of the book. Use the "Early Registrant" ticket to be one of the first ten and reserve your free book. Attendance at the meeting on February 2 is mandatory to receive a copy.
The remaining 25 registration spots will receive a complimentary bookmark to celebrate the release of VIGIL. You can bring any book to read during our silent reading hour (bonus points if it's another book by George Saunders!).
We welcome all SBC HSV members to pre-order VIGIL through The Snail on the Wall if you would like a copy, regardless of if you register for this special event or not.

Pre-ordered copies will be available to pick up at The Snail on the Wall start on VIGIL's release day (January 27). Those who register to attend the meeting can also pick up your pre-ordered copy at the event on February 2. Additional orders for VIGIL can be placed during the Candlelight Reading Vigil.
