Join us for lunch, a spot of reading, and a mooch for new reads!
We will be having lunch together (a chance to treat yourself) and then have the freedom to explore Astley Book Farm. There will be no pressure to stay as a group and you can stay as long as you like.
Like SBC meet-ups, you can bring your own book (any genre, format, and headphones if required), or you can treat yourself to a new one from Astley Book Farm. There is no requirement to read either - you’re welcome to join us for lunch and a mooch.

Astley Book Farm is the largest second-hand bookshop in the Midlands!
They have a huge range of books, including nonfiction, fiction, rare, and out-of-print books. They also have a Children’s Hayloft and the Ten Bob Barn (cheap as chips reads!).
Astley has a beautiful outside courtyard, yurt, indoor cafe, and a snug with open fire.
Lunch will be purchased by you from the cafe.They offer lite bites, cakes, hearty soup, sausage roll, bacon, sausage, and fish finger butties and toasties. Hot and cold drinks. Gluten-free & vegetarian/vegan options available. You can also pick up a free Loyalty Card to earn points and enjoy on future visits so be sure to get one!
Dogs are welcome in their courtyard garden only.
