Every outfit we choose holds the power to express our unique personality and identity as cherished children of God. This truth goes beyond mere clothing; personal style is a divine expression of our unrepeatable identity, reflecting the fact that we are made in God’s image. In Theology of Style: Expressing the Unique and Unrepeatable You, author Lillian Fallon draws from her experience in the fashion industry to delve deep into the profound truth that what we wear is far more than just fabric on our bodies—it is a radiant statement of our unrepeatable identity, a tangible expression of being made in the image of our Creator.
We've been thinking about this for a while and when this book came up we decided it was time to have a women's book club for SAYA!
This group is for Catholic women (though friends and those in RCIA are also welcome!) ages 21-39. Each week we'll meet up to pray, discuss the book, and share our faith and experience as Catholic women. Below you'll find the reading for each week. Don't worry- most weeks are only ~10 pages. Please read the section ahead of time so we can discuss.
We'll meet in the St. Teresa Room at St. Anne, though the last meeting may move due to the St. Anne Market (keep an eye out for more details!)
The book is published by Ascension, here is the link if you want to buy it there:
