Please join the Rotary Clubs of Grafton in our campaign to 'Say No to Domestic & Family Violence' and 'Yes to Respectful Relationships'. We are coordinating a Community Walk to raise public awareness of Domestic & Family Violence issues as part of the 16 Days of Activism initiative.
The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is a global campaign. It runs every year from 25 November (the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to 10 December (Human Rights Day).
Our Community Walk will be held on Friday 29th November 2024, commencing at 7.30am. All participants are asked to assemble at Memorial Park by 7.45am.
The walk will start at Memorial Park, opposite the Crown Hotel in Prince Street, then proceed along the River Walk to cross the old Grafton Bridge then return via the new Bridge.
