In all its forms consumerism is the cause of climate change, habitat loss, habitat fragmentation, species loss, pollution and the breaking down of our communities.On Friday 29th November (so called Black Friday) we will be outside the shopping centre near to the Clock Tower, having placards and banners to draw attention to the harmful effects of excess consumption to life on earth - and to encourage living more harmoniously.
This will be a collaborative action with different groups involved sharing in the common ground they have.
