A workshop to help build confidence in communicating consent and setting boundaries in friendships, dating, and sexual situations.
About this Event

Say It, Mean It is a 2-hour interactive workshop designed to help neurodivergent young people aged 12–15 (socially, developmentally, and/or intellectually) build confidence in communicating consent and setting boundaries in friendships, dating, and sexual situations.

Through discussion, hands-on activities, roleplays, and movement-based exercises, participants will learn to:

  • Boundary mapping exercises for real-life scenarios
  • Recognise body language and non-verbal cues indicating comfort or discomfort with consent and boundaries
  • Use scripts and strategies to say “no,” slow things down, or ask for clarification
  • Set clear, respectful boundaries in real-life scenarios
  • Communicate confidently and assertively with peers and dating partners

Consent is more than just a “yes or no” — it’s about understanding signals, speaking up, and respecting both your own and others’ boundaries.

This workshop gives young people practical, real-world skills to navigate dating and sexual situations safely, confidently, and respectfully.
