SaxKixAve is a multi-instrumental hip-hop adventure featuring the dynamic duo of Albert Allenback, the creative saxophone force of international stars Tank and the Bangas, and leading contemporary rapper Alfred Banks. Allenback, who studied at UNO with sax master Ed Petersen, has garnered numerous awards as part of Tank and the Bangas, including a Grammy nod; Banks, named 2018’s Best Rap Artist by Offbeat and 2019’s Best Rapper from the Big Easy Awards, also earned a Grammy nomination. Together, the pair produce groove-worthy, lyrical music with a contemporary flair.

Flamingeaux style is unique as he has taken some of the classic anthems from New Orleans and brought them into the new age. This fusion of marching bands, brass bands, jazz, funk, zydeco, all over a disco house and EDM sound is what I like to call NOLA House Music.
