Did you know you can save seeds from fully mature plants and use them to generate more? This is what nature does!!
Learn the basics about saving seeds in a natural garden: identifying which seeds to save, when to collect them, and how. We will guide you in hands-on learning at the food forest = then join us in saving some seeds!
This is a hands-on workshop, in which you will learn-by-doing, working with fellow community members to raise and care for our young little food forest! All ages and abilities welcome!
Physical challenge level: easy
Family friendly: Yes. One or more volunteers will be on-site to lead primary-elementary aged children in outdoor active play. Please send us a note prior to the event with age(s) of child(ren) so our volunteers can prepare. Thanks!
Be prepared: This is a hands-on outdoor workshop. Dress for work and the weather: layers, protective footwear and work clothes.
Bring: Your own drinking water/beverage; a snack will be provided.
