In this must-attend Second Saturday conversation, Dr. Eric Dorfman, bird ecologist and President of the Linda Hall Library, is joined by Missouri State Ornithologist Kristen Heath-Acre and Program Manager Chris Cardwell from Deep Roots KC to explore what science and the public can do to help protect birds.
Moderated by Eric Ward, VP for Public Program at the Linda Hall Library, the panel of experts will discuss the dramatic decline of bird species, offer practical tips to create bird-friendly habitats, and explore recent initiatives in Missouri that have enhanced bird conservation.

July 13 is the last day to view the Library's exhibition, Chained to the Sky: The Science of Birds, Past & Future. Exhibition galleries are free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on second Saturdays of each month and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
