Hello Gengras Community! Gengras Subaru is hosting a Save the Sound event in our local area of Torrington CT on Saturday, October 18th at Jiggs-Donahue Park.
Jiggs-Donahue Park is a small park at 33 East Pearl Street, with a playground, basketball court, and community gardens. The gardens are run by a group of dedicated volunteers, who donate the food to the Friendly Hands foodbank. In spring of 2025, the Torrington Conservation Commission planted a mix of fruit trees and bushes next to the garden to serve as a free pick-your-own-fruit resource. Running through the park is the Naugatuck River, which also needs some tidying.
