Join us to honor and remember our fallen heroes by placing wreaths on their graves at Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday, December 13.Wreaths Across America dates back to 1992 when the Morrill Worcester Wreath Company in Maine donated 5,000 spare wreaths to honor the dead at Arlington. Local volunteers helped to lay the wreaths and photos of the adorned graves went viral (see attached photo). Thousands called the Morrill Worcester office to donate, volunteer, and to learn how they could hold similar ceremonies at their local veteran cemeteries.
Now, tens of thousands of volunteers lay hundreds of thousands of wreaths at Arlington as well as over 1,200 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad!
This year, the DC Metro Chapter - Binghamton University Alumni Association and the New York State Society will gather to help honor and remember our fallen heroes by placing wreaths on their graves at Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday, December 13 at 8am. We hope you will join us.
