The city and Solano County have moved the date from August to October, so...The 2025 National Night Out (NNO) is Tuesday October 7th and we are planning a block party for the Vista Neighborhood Association. This will be held from 6-8 p.m.

For those who have never been to a NNO, the event is open to Vista residents. We get a permit to close the street. We invite everyone to bring their own chair (and a table if desired), and some kind of dinner item or dessert or beverage to share. We will provide name tags, tables for shared items, table cloths, server ware, water, cups, plates, forks/spoons, and napkins. We also will have some sidewalk chalk for kids big and small to encourage some fun drawing in the street, along with some crayons and coloring sheets for kids. Come visit. It's a nice way to meet neighbors and forge community. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING, VAPING, OR PETS. And if the CDC says to wear masks, do it; else it's up to you. And please be kind to walkers and drive 25 mph or less in the neighborhood on the way there! Walk if you can to the location to leave room for parking for those who need it most due to mobility issues.
NOTE: This is a nation wide event, so other neighborhoods in Vallejo also will have them, as will other towns all over the place!
