About this Event

About the event

Join us as we celebrate the valued contributions of over 2,200 young people who shared their ideas on how the State Government can improve outcomes for young people with the new Youth Action Plan. We want YOU to be part of the action! Young people from all over WA told us what is most important to them, and what they need to be at their best and achieve their goals. Come along to hear what we are doing next to improve positive outcomes for young people across the State, and to continue the conversation!

On behalf of the The State Government, Hannah Beazley Minister for Youth will be hosting a FREE event which will include:

  • interactive stalls from State Government agencies contributing to the new Youth Action Plan, and other activities including badgemaking and giant games
  • live local entertainment (including young performers)
  • delicious food and drinks
  • the chance to win some fantastic giveaways including vouchers to attend a barista course, coding classes and tickets to a pasta-making class at Perth City Farm
  • and much more!

Come and discover what young people in WA had to say and learn about the State Government’s next steps.

+ meet new people, make new friends and build valuable connections!

About the venue

Perth City Farm is a not-for-profit community urban farm, originally established on a degraded industrial site in East Perth, and rehabilitated by volunteers. The venue provides space and opportunities to educate and support people to live sustainably, and build community connections. The importance young people told us they place on living in a sustainable way and connection to community during consultations for the Youth Action Plan, make the Perth City Farm the perfect location for the launch event.

A map of the venue will be available to support you to navigate the event comfortably.
