About this Event
The Silos to Solutions: Educators for Justice-Involved Youth conference, presented by the See Forever Institute, aims to foster collaboration among educators from diverse sectors – including incarcerated education experts across higher education, secondary education, special education and student support services. Silos to Solutions will serve as a platform to address the multifaceted challenges faced by students in secure settings; furthermore, the conference recognizes the critical need for reforms within the corrections system itself.
Inspired by the powerful legacy of Dr. Maya Angelou, the See Forever Institute will share strategies, experiences, and best practices to create a cohesive, in-person conference experience that empowers and supports staff, faculty and students. Silos to Solutions will surpass anything educators and providers have previously encountered in the adolescent justice sphere. Our convening will feature:
