Bring your own board, kayak, canoe along with your festive/creative holiday outfit.
If you don't have a board/kayak/canoe we should have room on the Monster Board as well just post your request in the discussion that you would like a spot!
If you would like to borrow a board or paddlecraft, just post in the discussion and there are usually a few folks with extras!
We will paddle down to the plaza to support Santa's arrival - then dock up and enjoy a beverage and the plaza festivities!
THIS PADDLE SESSION IS RECOMMENDED FOR EXPERIENCED PADDLERS ONLY! The water is very cold and your safety and security is a primary concern. Paddlers should be prepared and dress appropriately.
11 am - Gear up at Lake Anne Boat Ramp at Inlet Court to paddle to the our meeting point MOORINGS CLUSTER DOCK (THIS IS THE FIRST INLET YOU WILL SEE ON THE RIGHT (STARBOARD) SIDE AS YOU ARE PADDLING FROM THE BOAT LAUNCH TO THE PLAZA.
11:20 am - Gather at MOORINGS CLUSTER DOCK
11:30ish am - Alternate meeting site is Lakeside Cluster Marina Dock mid lake. If paddlers gather there they can join the parade as its paddling down.
12:30 - Arrival with Santa at Lake Anne Plaza
Once we paddle down to Lake Anne Plaza we usually enjoy the festivities together at Jingle on the Lake. Most paddlers just paddle back at their own convenience.
