During this weekend of events, we are thrilled to present the first Chip Trefry Community Game Changer Award to Stephen Joost, Founding Partner of Firehouse Restaurant Group, for his extraordinary commitment to public service, community involvement, and a demonstration of as Chip would say "leave it better than you found it."
The dinner and golf events will raise funds for the First Tee – North Florida and the Earl “Chip” Trefry, Jr Scholarship fund, a $20,000 college scholarship providing educational opportunities to First Tee participants who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to and/or excellence through First Tee – North Florida and will be a life-long ambassador to the game.
As Mr. Trefry was, the recipients are identified as potential leaders in their community and have a strong character foundation. Through your amazing support, during last' year's event, we raised in excess of $250,000 for the First Tee and the scholarship fund.
Please join us again in remembering Chip, honoring Mr. Joost, and making a difference in NE Florida.
