About this Event
Come discover the skill of preserving your own foods in this water bath canning class designed for 9 to 18-year-olds. Youth will learn the basics of food preservation using a water bath and will leave with their own jars of salsa, jam, and pickles.
Due to the nature of the class, class size is limited to 6 youth. Hair must be pulled back, or in a cap, and closed-toed shoes are required.
Materials are provided in class. Must pay in advance before registration ends on July 12 at 5 pm. Cash or check is also accepted.
Youth must be 9 to 18 years old as of September 1, 2023, to participate.
NOTE: Classes and events may be canceled at any time due to low registration or other circumstances, with full refunds issued for paid events. Similar classes or events often are offered on future dates.
