About this Event
Though as a grape variety Sauvignon Blanc is perhaps best known today from its expressions from Marlborough on the South Island of New Zealand, as a grape variety, Sauvignon Blanc is an old grape variety originating near Bordeaux in France, where it was found growing wild, sauvage in French. Along with Bordeaux, it was also cultivated further north in the Loire Valley and through other parts of France, all with a wild character behind it! In addition to being a parent to many grape varieties, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc makes some phenomenal wines on their own!
Join us tonight at Metro Liquor to try several Sauvignon Blancs from around the world!
