Yeah, another bank holiday and so another festival weekend at the brewery tap! We enjoyed putting on our Easter beer festival so much we’ve been itching to do it all over again, except this one isn’t about Easter eggs, it’s about sausages & cider! Don’t worry they’ll be plenty of beers too, here’s what we’ve got planned for the weekend.Friday 3rd May – Opening from midday with a mouth-watering selection of sausages, ciders, beers, wines, and spirits to smooth you into that Friday feeling in the knowledge you can stay in bed all day Monday! Keep your eyes peeled for the selection of sausages that Silly Sausage Man will be bringing along.
Music in the evening comes from a very firm brewery favourite....Mr. Malc Evans!! We are super excited to have Malc back, total top bloke and always smashes it at the brewery. Malc will be kicking off at 7pm.
Saturday 4th May – May the 4th be with you ah!! Open from midday and if you turn up looking like Han Solo or Princess Leia, we’ll buy you a pint! It also happens to be the start of the Giro Italia, with the first stage starting from the beautiful Venaria Reale and finishing you would have thought in a bunch sprint into Torino, we’ll be screening the race live. Food again will be served up by none other than Silly Sausage Man.
Musical vibes for the Saturday evening will be coming from Coventry band, The Sherbets, live music suitable for all ages - covering many genres, perfect for a great evenings entertainment!
Sunday 5th May – Open from midday, the Giro D'Italia will be on the big screen live as the second stage takes the riders from San Francesco al Campo all the way to Santuario di Oropa, this one gets a bit grippy. Food will be, you guessed it, Silly Sausage Man.
Starting at 5pm! Open mic night, whoop, whoop! If you came along to our first open mic night at the Easter beer festival, you’ll understand how excited we are about putting another open mic event on. 4oz of Groove will be in the house running the show and playing a few tracks. So, if you're a budding musician, a band who fancies a jam, or a chart topping global super star! Or you just fancy blasting out your favourite take that track to a backing track come on down and join in the fun. For every performer they’ll also be a free pint at the bar.
