Our next event is coming up on Saturday, October 5, 9:00AM to 1:00 PM at Back Channel Brewing. Entry is $55 in advance and will sell out at 75 people. No worries if you can't make the entire timeframe—even 2-3 hrs is a great window to show up and join in community. Saunas by Voyageur Saunas will be going, and cold immersion will be available directly in Lake Minnetonka. Reid Nelles of Minnesota Movement will be guiding two 25-minute sessions highlighting the pain-free techniques to address the most common areas where people experience chronic pain.
This will be our first event at Back Channel Brewing and we're so excited! Cofounders Josh and Melissa describe it as an entity, a community gathering space, with a come-as-you-are focus. Note: The brewery has an indoor space where alcohol is served (along with several nonalcoholic options). Our event, weather permitting, will be outdoors in their expansive lakefront space with access to lake cold plunging. All beverages served in our space will be substance-free.
There will be food trucks onsite (a complimentary $15 voucher is included in your $55 ticket) and Natalie Lang will be heading up the snacks; Jen Veralle (formerly Gilhoi), Zero Proof Collective, will be serving NA beverages including Sauna Water, and Vince LaPelusa will be steeping and serving Fresh Steeps all event long!
OUR COLLABORATORS:
Josh Leddy, along with his wife, Melissa, is a co-owner of Back Channel Brewing, an entity that fosters a deep sense of community through events and being a welcoming and inclusive community space. He's an entrepreneur, athlete, and pain management warrior, hellbent on discovering the most effective non-invasive treatment methods to enhance life and prevent surgery, all detailed in his book Pain Management: My Pain, Your Gain. Leddy has a degree in sport management from the University of Minnesota and in addition to Back Channel Brewing Co., he's the founder/owner/operator of Life’s A Beach Shoreline Services, and co-founder/owner/operator of Centered State Beverage.

Reid Nelles, founder of Minnesota Movement, provides efficient and effective chiropractic care integrated with functional rehabilitation. Reid and the team at MN Movement are focused on implementing a recovery program aimed at identifying and treating the WHY of the ailment that their patients are experiencing by integrating chiropractic with specific soft tissue treatment, rehabilitation, and nutrition. 9:00 Event begins, two saunas by Voyageur Sauna running throughout the event
9:30 FIRST movement session by Reid Nelles of Minnesota Movement (25min in length)
9:30: food and drinks available now throughout the event use your food truck voucher, enjoy complimentary serve yourself eats; ZPC-served NA cocktails and NA beer; Fresh Steeps tea
10:00: Opening circle/dropping in “what brought you here, what is bringing you back?”; option to opt out for smaller group shares
11:30 SECOND movement session by Reid Nelles (25min in length)
1:00: Event end, stay for longer, grab a bike ride through Electric Trails, or hang out at Back Channel Brewing for more socializing.
Please Note:
1. This is a substance-free and adult event; open to ages 16+ when accompanied by an adult. A specific waiver will need to be signed.
2. Photographer Nik Linde will be taking pictures at the event. Let us know upon check-in if you prefer not to be photographed.
