About this Event
Join textile artist Nadia Rein of Nadia Rein Design for a creative afternoon of wet felting, where you’ll make your own felted sauna hat using natural wool, warm water, soap, and your hands.
Sauna hats are traditionally worn to protect your head from heat, helping regulate body temperature, prevent dizziness, and make sauna time more comfortable and enjoyable. A well-felted wool hat insulates gently, allowing you to stay longer in the sauna and fully enjoy the benefits of heat, relaxation, and detox.
This workshop is also about slowing down and making together. Wet felting is tactile, grounding, and surprisingly joyful — even more so when shared with friends. Expect conversation, laughter, and the satisfying rhythm of working with wool and water.
