FeLion Studios will kick off the "Pour'n Yer Heart Out" iron pour weekend with an outdoor wood fired gathering blending the warmth of saunas built by @LuedkeDesignBuild Sauna, with the fun camaraderie of craft beer culture celebrated with the iron artists in town for the community iron pour event on Saturday.
Bierstacheln (or "beer spike") is a wintertime German-origin technique of warming cold beers by plunging a red-hot metal rod into a dark lager (Bock style) beer. This enhances the beer's flavors by caramelizing sugars in the malt and transforming the beer into a creamy, brulee' texture that forms a "beer marshmallow" foam on top.
Guests of the Sauna party gather to relax, connect, and try "Bierstacheln" on a variety of locally crafted Bock style brews.
Perfect for locals and visitors alike, this Friday night event is all about community, fun, and a unique Wisconsin winter experience that puts a twist on local brewing and sauna traditions. Gather with friends old and new for an evening of laughter, local brews, and unforgettable connections, all set in a welcoming, festive atmosphere at Garver Feed Mill, on Madison's east side.
