Sauce Pocket is a High Octane Psychedelic Funk ensemble based out of Jacksonville, FL. The virtuosic quintet unleashes their collective creativity through sweeping improvisational movements and hard hitting originals. With a deep well of influences from the worlds of Funk, Soul, and Hip Hop to House, Samba and Latin Jazz, they form a powerhouse of creative energy that delivers explosive performances that move the dance floor and take listeners on an interdimensional journey through time and space.
Displace is a saxophone and electric violin-driven funk fusion ensemble based in Tampa, Florida known for their energetic performances, improvisational prowess, and wildly diverse sonic palette. The Floridian four-piece effectively utilizes their extensive training in a variety of musical backgrounds to produce a truly eclectic blend of infectious pop melodies, complex jazz progressions, and danceable funk grooves.
Displace has been included on the lineup of several prominent music festivals throughout the southeast U.S. including Suwannee Hulaween, Gasparilla Music Festival, Blackwater Music Festival, Aura Music Festival, Orange Blossom Jamboree, Soulshine Farm Fest, Fractal Beach Music Festival, and The Great Outdoors Jam. They have shared bills with the likes of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Roosevelt Collier, The Heavy Pets, Marco Benevento, TAUK, Dumpstaphunk, The Fritz, Ike Stubblefield, and more.
Special Guest opener: Fingerpuppet! Fronted by legendary St. Pete sculptor and artist Frank Strunk, this classic St. Pete Punk Band plays at 8pm.
The Bayboro has full food and beverage and will open its beergarden and tap room and restaurant at 4pm day of show.
