About this Event
Join us, Saturdays, on a (shared) 'adventure' to ---> 'chase away boredom & blues', as we learn more ('fun facts') about the history of dark stout (roots) & a summary of it's evolution through time. Then, explore new & exciting combinations of Stouts & Shandies (a large variety of different combinations, mix & match).
First, embarq on an entertaining (shared) ten minute video journey which traces the roots of dark stout from it's earliest origins to today's dark stouts (ie - Guinness Dark).

Then, revisit a quick chapter in history that explains Shandies -- which are wildly popular throughout the UK & Europe, and are only now 'catching on' in the US.

After previewing the video clips, meet us 'pub side' ... where we mix/match & explore new combinations of Shandies (exceptionally popular in UK pubs, only now gaining popularity in much of the US) until the 'wee hours'. (additional charges for spirits may apply)
(readily available) Lager, libations & laughter; free / easy parking, classic pub games, tasty 'light fare' pub snacks, music, flat screen TV, billiards table ... all located within a small / cozy, historic 'mom & pop' owned venue (KMCIP - Katie Mc's Irish Pub) that's simply charming in it's reminiscence of genuine / classic Irish Pub culture.
Fantastic fellowship is ALWAYS worth the time it takes to find it.
