There are 3 Saturday Workshops, held on 13th September 2025, 11th October and 8th November. Suitable for new quilters, those who want to learn more or update their skills. Each month their will be a choice of 4 different projects.
Choose the project you want to make from the Twisted Table Runner, Windmill Bag, On Point Sewing Mat and Crazy Patchwork Cushion. Each one is made using different patchwork techniques and offer you the opportunity to make something special for your
home or as a gift.
Some home finishing may be required and you will receive written instructions for your chosen project.
For new quilters the Twisted Table Runner or Windmill Bag are the easier projects. The size of the table runner depends on your
table be it can also be made as placemats and there are lots of Christmas fabrics in the shops if you are planning ahead.
I will be at the Holbeach Indoor Farmers Market, 3rd Aug 2025, 10am to 2pm, at the Holbeach Hub and Bourne Indoor Farmers Market, on 17th Aug 2025, 10am to 2pm, Bourne Leisure Centre. The projects will be with me and I will be happy to answer your questions
To ensure everyone receives the support they need places are limited and do require booking.
You will need to bring your sewing machine, fabric and wadding for your chosen project and sewing kit. Plus your lunch and mug. On booking your place you will receive a requirements list.
2 ironing stations, rotary cutters, rulers and cutting mats to share, will be provided. Plus Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake, a quilters essential.
These are stand alone days and the cost is £30 for a single workshop or attend all 3, for £75.

Full payment by Bank Transfer, of £30 is required for a single day and a deposit of £35 if booking all 3. Requirement lists will be sent on receipt.
The Fraiser Room is situated next to the St Laurence Church, there is easy access as there are no steps. Parking is free parking and roadside in the layby in front of the Church and down Station Road, to the side of the Church. There are a few spaces next to the Fraiser Room, if you are unable to carry your machine far.
