Many art supplies have a significant environmental impact. Learn how you can be a eco-artist by safely making pigments, paints, and inks from the colors of nature.
We will use Turmeric, Butterfly Pea flowers, ground indigo, Red Cabbage, and Cochineal insects to create natural dyes that you can use in art.
Learn how to chemically turn natural dyes into lake pigments for paints.
Explore the history and science of color-making while we create art.
