Help your child foster a passion for STEM Education with hands on fun and interactive experiments at the Museum of Aviation!Here's what's in store for this month's "STEM Stories" (K-5th) & "Lairs and Lepidoptera"(6-8th) Saturday STEM Labs:
Kindergarten: "Thinking outside the box! Kindergarteners will become architects, build creativity and resourcefulness, and learn the power of collaboration by applying the story “Boxitects” by Kim Smith throughout this STEM Lab."
1st-2nd: "Help Goldilocks! First and second graders will use the Engineering Design Process to construct, test, and build upon their designs. rack into science! First and second graders will explore the science behind eggs through fun experiments, from investigating the effects of heat to levitating eggs."
3rd-5th: "Help The Three Little pigs! Third through fifth graders will use the Engineering Design Process to construct, test, and build upon their designs. The big bad wolf will get stronger as time goes on!"
6th-10th: "Bugged out about STEM? Explore a future world of insects and use math and biology to solve problems and save the day in this imaginative STEM adventure using math and science skills."
