SATURDAY SPECIAL: In-depth Contemporary Art Tour: PRENZLAUER BERG
On this unique opportunity to explore the contemporary galleries in Prenzlauer Berg, we will stroll from Friedrichshain, through the park, and to the other side. While art spaces have been slowly disappearing in this Kiez, there are some secret locations we’d like to share with you. We don't offer tours in this neighborhood very often, but sometimes art just bursts through the cracks in the sidewalk and we have to seize the chance to share it with you!
This tour has quite a variety of exhibitions set far apart - so you have to be comfortable with walking; we will discuss formats of both solo and group presentations.
Explore cutting-edge galleries, meet passionate artists, and uncover the stories behind the most exciting pieces. Whether you’re an art lover or a collector starting out, this tour offers a fun, relaxed way to experience the artmaking journey - from paintbrush to installation.

On our standard tours, we guide you through several thought-provoking presentations in the form of both group and solo exhibitions; on special tours, we have the fortune of visiting an artist studio and gaining insight into the artistic process. Whether galleries, museums, or artist studios - the goal is always to open your mind, discover new ways of thinking, and make new friends!
This tour is led in English. Please arrive early to make sure we can start on time.
Due to the fragility of some of the artworks we see, backpacks and large objects are not allowed. We appreciate your understanding.
Please do not go inside the gallery prior to the starting time - it is important that we all begin the journey together.
