In this workshop, come discover a dance piece from the movie "Swing" (1938 - Oscar Micheaux) featuring the wonderful Consuela Harris*.Consuela Harris* (Connie Harris) was a famous actress and "shake" dancer from the 20th century. Despite a regrettable lack of footage of her dancing, she remains an important source of inspiration for jazz dancers.
We will of course work on steps, but also experiment with her energetic, powerful, feminine style.
*Depending on the source, she is also referred to as "Consuelo Harris".
Recommended : comfortable clothes, slidy shoes.
