A welcoming one day workshop including 4 - 5 hrs of photography tuition leaving on foot from Eleven41 Gallery after a morning meet-up over a cuppa and finishing with a friendly group review and discussion over a brew and a scone. These instructional sessions will explore and open up creative possibilities whilst photographing amongst the beautiful and historical landscape surrounding Kingussie. Whatever the weather brings we will focus on creating photographic narrative and advancing participants in a variety of photographic techniques whilst enjoying our local moors, woodlands, burns and landmarks.
From capturing ethereal long exposures of the Gynack Burn rapids to dramatic plays of light along the Spey valley, or focusing on the micro details of the flora spotted along the way, these one-day sessions will bring your senses to the forefront in advancing how you photograph, offering photographic insight you will take home and stories you will tell with your own pictures from our local landscape.
As a Highland town Kingussie is very fortunate to have an expansive variety of outdoor terrain, accessible via a plethora of well maintained hill and woodland tracks made by the fantastic volunteers of Kingussie Community Development Company.
