Dutch Gap to Osborne Landing - Looking for SturgeonMeet at Dutch Gap! Park close to the hill and steps to avoid the vultures.
You are invited as long to paddle with us as long as you properly wear your life jacket (PFD). Get your kayak or SUP. Bring a smile and pack a snack! We always have a lot of fun.
Meet between 1:45 - 2 pm and be in the water by 2:15 (ready to go). Parking is very easy with a big parking lot. Drop your kayak off at the boat ramp and then park on the hill. We'll be back from kayaking right around 5 pm.
LIFE JACKETS (PFDs) MUST BE WORN and fastened while on the water. Make sure you have a whistle and a light in case we are out after dark. PLEASE don’t make me talk to you about wearing your life jacket properly.
PLEASE STAY WITH THE GROUP! It’s not a race. Let everyone catch up. Don’t let anyone get too far behind. If you want to go back let someone know. Be extra friendly. Find a new kayaking buddy. Have a great time!
(Dutch Gap Boat Ramp, Coxendale Road, Chester) If you are coming to Dutch Gap for the first time make sure you go to the boat ramp, which is past the conservation area.
Always bring something to drink, a snack, and a "we are going to have fun attitude!" (Kayaking is sometimes canceled because of bad weather, but I try not too. Use your best judgement.)
