This will be a very early meeting due to the distance we will be riding. The meeting point will be at The M27 Rownhams Services (Westbound) in Southampton from 05:15am which we will be leaving approx 06:00 approx. We will get to Merlins Cave for around 11:30am including stopping time which we will stop at a petrol station which has a cafe on site so we can top up if needed and then you can get get a drink and something to eat. We will stop for about 45 mins so it gives you all enough time. We will stop here again on the way back if everyone is happy with that as some may need to top up again and want a drink.
The ride to Cornwall is a brilliant ride itself as it has amazing views and brilliant twisty roads for riding.
Once we are at the location we will be going into the Merlins Cave which the entry price is £16 per person.
Their is a bit of a walk to the attraction from the carpark so just wanted you to be aware.
If anyone wants to come on the ride out but doesn't want to do the Merlin Cave Attraction then your still welcome to join us as you can just do your own thing once we get there.
We will be doing the road speed limits so everyone then can keep up and it will also help make sure we all stay together. If anyone would like to ride faster then your welcome to either ride ahead then wait for us to catch up or once we get closer to the half way stopping point then you can ride ahead and we will meet you there.
Please can people click "Going" on the event page if you are definitely attending the ride out. For those people who click "Interested" please can you do this if your actually considering in going as this helps alot. Thank you 😁
You are also welcome also to just turn up on the day if you change your mind about going as I do understand people are busy and not always sure.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
This ride out will be a very early start and we won't be back into Southampon until about 7pm in the evening so it will be a long day.
The ride out will depend on the weather on the day as it will be maybe cancelled if theirs heavy rain. I will be keeping an eye on the weather forecast for Southampton and Cornwall on the week we go and everyone will be kept up to date which I will post on this event page and also on my group page.
