The Smack Dabs specialize in good-time Swing Blues music from the 1930's, featuring the songs of Tampa Red, Big Bill Broonzy, The Harlem Hamfats, and many others. This delightful and timeless genre features a rich variety of musical styles, ranging from mournful blues to joyful celebrations, setting the stage for incredible solo and group improvisations and delighting listening audiences and dancers alike.Last month, we had a great first night at our new venue. Join us for November's dance as we are taking a break for the month of December. The Arlington American Legion entertainment hall (Post 39). This easy to reach location has a great wood dance floor and plenty of free street parking. We'll also be offering a well-stocked cash bar with drinks for sale at affordable prices! Beginner dance lesson at 8pm, no partner needed. Tickets are $25 online and $30 at the door. We will post on this page if tickets have sold out. The hall does have a capacity limit, so advance purchase is recommended!
