First World Problems is a dynamic quartet featuring Emma Hefkey (vocals, keyboards), Don Lightfoot (guitar), John Schulthies (drums), and John Devitt (bass, acoustic guitar). With a wide range of musical influences—from classic rock and retro hits to grunge and modern pop/rock—this band brings something for everyone. Their chemistry and experience shine through in every performance, delivering a sound that’s tight, energetic, and full of heart.
Opening the night is Nevin Douglas, a seasoned musician, songwriter, and recording artist originally from Toronto and now based in Stratford. A professional guitar technician by trade and a familiar face behind the soundboard, Nevin steps into the spotlight with a solo set that showcases his depth as a performer and his decades of musical experience.
